Short Biography: The Raiders selected running back Napoleon McCallum in the 4th round of the 1986 NFL Draft out of the United States Naval Academy following a record setting collegiate career that included 16 personal records set and held at the time of his graduation. He would later be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003. In his rookie season with the Raiders, McCallum rushed for his season-high NFL totals while also on active duty. He was assigned to the USS California in 1987 and served until 1990.He rejoined the Raiders in 1990 before retiring in 1994.
